The boys at Hoax Brewing are definitely making a name for themselves across Connecticut with their undeniably unique and creative beers. Brewing out of the "Beeracks" facility in East Haven alongside a handful of other brewing projects, Hoax has produced a steady stream of original iterations.

Their rotating sour series, "Sleight of Hand" features a kaleidoscope of fresh seasonal fruit and flavors, this one using black berries, juniper, lemon, cloves, and ginger. This rendition is certainly tart and very full flavored. As you allow your beer to warm up in your glass, the spicy aromas of cloves and ginger will reveal themselves. On the palate you'll find juicy sour blackberries and notes of lemon.
