Imperial Pilsners are rarely seen, and for good reason. It takes a deft touch to brew a high-alcohol version of a beer renowned for demanding perfection. This keeps lagers generally in the 5% range. To complement the alcohol being bumped up to 7.3%, the brewers have dry-hopped this one-time beer with noble European hops, amplifying the grassy and green notes that complete German-style lagers.

This is definitely a beer to warm you up on a cold winter's evening before dinner, whetting your appetite for a hearty dinner of sausage and sauerkraut. Prost!
