Dogfish Head Campfire Amplifier
Delaware - 6.5% ABV
We consider Dogfish Head Brewing to be one of the GRANDfathers of the American craft beer scene. Since their founding in 1995, they've become one of the most watched and well-respected breweries in the country, inventing brewing processes (the first continually-hopped IPAs ever), creating HUNDREDS of unique beers, and seriously setting the nationwide bar for quality along the way. For years, under master brewer Sam Calagione, they've lead the charge of sourcing exotic ingredients from around the world, and in turn have constantly pushed the limits of what a beer can possibly be.
Campfire Amplifier is their newest 2020 seasonal offering: a milk stout brewed with graham crackers, cinnamon and marshmallows, and with cocoa powder and vanilla beans added. Capturing the flavors of brewing adjuncts more successfully than anyone else could, you really do get the feeling of being next to a roaring campfire. Although less sweet than you might expect from a "sweet milk stout," this beer is just like drinking toasted s'mores but with a dry finish.
Enjoy!!
