Join us on July 20th at Saltwater Farms for a singular summer celebration. S.A.L.T stands for Sea, Air, Land, Tasting. This tasting event will feature 50 wines (including special selections from Saltwater Vineyards) that are all made from coastal vineyard's. A soirée of summer with wines that were made by the water to be drank by the water.

We love Chenin Blanc. The powerhouse white grape of the Loire Valley is one of the more unique varieties in that it can be made in a multitude of different styles. Kathryn & David plan on showcasing Chenin Blanc in every delicious form that we can get our hands on.

Pinot Noir is actually the parent grape for Chardonnay so it does make sense that we would follow up immediately with it. Also hailing from Burgundy, this is one of the most popular grapes in the world. The Balkan peninsula is a home to a multitude of winemaking regions that combined have thousands of years of history. We are still slow to get these wines to be available to us here in the US, but the past years have shown huge progress. Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, and Greece are all on the agenda for this exploration of an area few of us get to see in person.

Bully Boy Distillery has patiently been waiting for over 5 years to release their flagship Wheated Bourbon, and Shipwrights Daughter and Spencer & Lynn could not be more excited to partner with them for our first ever cocktail dinner.  

Made by hand in Boston, every step of the process has been meticulously crafted, right down to the selection of corn, grain, water, yeast, cuts, and barrel selection and even the aging environment by head distiller, Dave Willis.  When asked about his process and use of malted grains in his mash bills, Willis says, “While more expensive and trickier to use, they have more flavor and complexity”. Smetana European Food Truck is back in Groton! Join us anytime from 5:30 through 7:00 for an educational tasting showcasing what makes Austrian wines so darn delicious while Smetana serves up some schnitzel.

Jules and David take us through the arduous road of finding land, grapes and a way forward in California wine country from Santa Barbara to Santa Ynez.

Grape based spirit regions like cognac and armagnac have an incredibly long history of delicious outcomes way before their debut in pop culture.
