Marlowe Artisanal Ales Positive Outcomes
Stonington, CT - 5.2% ABV
You may not have heard of Zac Ross yet, but if you're a craft beer lover in Connecticut, you surely will soon!
As the official head brewer at Twelve Percent Beer Project, Zac's responsible for brewing their flagship lager, as well as all the contract-brewed beers of their immense brewing cooperative including Abomination, American Solera, Decadent, Omnipollo, Hoof Hearted and many more.
Marlowe Artisanal Ales, named for his late grandfather, is Zac's personal "brewery in progress," focusing on low ABV and balanced beers. Positive Outcomes is an unfiltered American pale ale brewed with Nelson Sauvin and Citra hops. This pours a brilliant bright yellow, opaque but not dark at all, with a sudsy, lingering head. The intense hoppy aromas might lead you to believe it'll be more bitter than it actually is.
However, it's overall an easy drinking beer that would be great any time of day. The carbonation is very soft, and the fresh, fruity flavors of grapefruit, lemon zest, and orange blossom are sure to delight. We sincerely wish you all some Positive Outcomes in this coming New Year.
