Beer Advent

2022

We hope you enjoy the beers we have put together for our 2022 Beer Advent! We have sought out new, limited and seasonal beers to share with you throughout December. We thank you for your support of our local shop and would love for you to tag us on Instagram with your favorites.

We've represented many of the best cans and bottles from our local craft beer scene, alongside some ancient, traditional brews from across the planet, and even included some new and unexpected flavors and styles as well. With an array of IPAs, a smattering of sours, some crisp clean lagers, some more obscure and nerdy lagers, plus all the roasty malty dark beers to keep you cozy this holiday season.

Cheers and Happy Holidays!

Einstok Icelandic White Ale

Iceland / 5.2% ABV

Located just 60 miles south of Santa’s headquarters in the Arctic circle, Einstok Olgerd Brewery brews all of their beer with pure Icelandic water. You are drinking a bit of history, as the water is derived not only from rain but from prehistoric glaciers!

Brewed in the traditional Belgian Witbier style, you will notice light citrus, coriander (and I dare say it) mint notes that tap dance on your tongue. There is also touch of sweetness that is derived from the use of wheat in the brewing process. However, the real show stopper in this bubbly recipe is the magic of the oats, which adds an elegant creaminess to the finish. Incredibly clean and smooth from the first sip, this Ale is just so darn refreshing.

Best enjoyed while hanging out with friends or listening to Bjork by the Yule log.
