Importer Spotlight Series 

One of things we have missed over the past two years is having importers and winemakers visit us here in Connecticut. Spending time with the people who import the wines is a necessity as we constantly are looking to learn. Not all importers are created equal though and the smaller the importer the less time they have. We want to share these evenings with you, our customers who are looking to learn more than what we are currently teaching in class. We hope to have more events like these but we always keep them small. The point of these is to have time to get to know the wineries we represent through the eyes of the importer!

Our first importer spotlight will be Ariana Rolich from A-R Wines. Ariana represents wineries from the "New Spain" which are essentially wineries and regions that were forgotten or ignored by many of the major importers from the past 3 decades. Her import book is at the forefront of natural wine from Spain, so of course we love it. 

The event will be held at Whitecrest Eatery at 6:30PM. Dinner will be a 3 course affair and the wines will not be paired specifically with each course.
