We continue our Spring series with a visit to one of the most iconic spots in all of the Mediterranean. Saint-Tropez probably evokes thoughts of yachts, beaches, and nightclubs but that does not tell the full story. This incredibly popular town has a smaller population than the town of Mystic where we reside but has a history stretching back 2,500 years. The center of the French Riviera, Saint-Tropez did not become the town that it is until after WWII. If sitting on the water, sipping rosé was a religion then Saint-Tropez would be the church. The whole area is steeped in Provencal culture which is exactly what draws us to the region. This dinner is Colt and myself doing our best to recreate the magic of Provence cuisine, ingredients and of course the wine. Thankfully there is so much more to Provence, Languedoc, and the French Riviera than drinking pale pink rosé and we can not wait to demonstrate that.
