El Dorado County is where the American Gold Rush kicked off in 1840's. The region unsurprisingly has more to offer after the gold ran out. Striking elevations and multitude of microclimates allow the region to cultivate a large number of interesting varietals.

Our next wine dinner at Whitecrest Eatery will focus on this unique region and the wines they produce. We will be working withThe Withers Winery which produces Rhone style blends from El Dorado and some single vineyard wines from other California AVA's.
