If you are not familiar with World Central Kitchen, it is a non-profit run by Chef Josè Andrès. Their mission is to feed people in need all over the world at the time of their greatest need (https://wck.org/).

Right now they are on the border of Ukraine and Poland cooking for refugees as they stream over the border. As people, we have felt sickened watching this unfold, and have wanted to do something, anything to help. This is not about politics, it is just about people in need. Right now there are chefs from all over the world (including here in CT) that are there helping to cook or helping to organize food shipments. We want to support them as much as we can so we are working with our friends from The Essex / Los Charros Cantina to pull together funding.

This Sunday (the 20th of March) the full proceeds of any gift cards you buy from Spencer & Lynn, The Essex & Los Charros Cantina will be donated to World Central Kitchen. We hope this small gesture helps and we hope to continue to do more.
