Tasting Notes:
The Aberfeldy 15 Year Old Cadillac Cask marries Highland single malt elegance with the rich influence of Bordeaux dessert wine casks. Matured in traditional oak and finished in rare Cadillac appellation wine casks from Bordeaux, it reveals aromas of honey, dried apricot, and toasted almonds alongside subtle floral notes. The palate is layered and silky, showing ripe stone fruits, golden honey, vanilla cream, and hints of baking spice, elevated by a gentle wine-driven sweetness. The finish is long and warming, balancing Aberfeldy’s signature honeyed malt with the lush fruit and subtle botrytis character of Cadillac wine.

About the Producer:
Founded in 1898 by John Dewar’s sons, the Aberfeldy Distillery sits on the banks of the Pitilie Burn in Perthshire, renowned for its pure water source. Known as “The Golden Dram,” Aberfeldy single malts are prized for their honeyed richness, approachable style, and balance between malt sweetness and oak spice. Under the guidance of Master Blender Stephanie Macleod, Aberfeldy has continued to innovate with cask finishes, highlighting both tradition and creativity within Scotch whisky.
