Tasting Notes:
Arette Artesanal Blanco is a traditionally made tequila that highlights the fresh, green, and peppery character of valley-grown agave. The nose is fragrant with roasted agave, citrus blossom, and crushed herbs. On the palate, it’s crisp and vibrant, offering notes of baked agave, lime, white pepper, and subtle minerality. The finish is clean and slightly sweet, with lingering herbal spice. This expression offers a more rustic, hand-crafted profile compared to Arette’s core Blanco, appealing to those who appreciate traditional production.
About the Producer:
Tequila Arette is made by the Orendain family at El Llano Distillery, one of the oldest operating distilleries in the town of Tequila. The Artesanal line is produced in smaller batches using traditional stone ovens for slow agave cooking, roller milling, and natural fermentation. Distillation takes place in stainless steel stills with copper coils, preserving bright agave aromatics. With no additives, this tequila captures the authenticity of the Tequila Valley’s volcanic terroir.
