Tasting Note:
Casagori Rosso 2023 is a vibrant, savory Tuscan red that combines Sangiovese’s bright acidity with Ciliegiolo’s generous fruit. Wild cherry, raspberry, ripe plum, violet, dried herbs, and subtle earthy spice lead into a juicy, medium-bodied palate. Fine tannins and a refreshing mineral edge keep the wine lively, while aging in older oak adds texture without overwhelming the fruit. A beautifully approachable expression of Tuscany, equally suited to a casual weeknight dinner or a proper Italian meal.

About the Producer:
Azienda Agricola Casagori is the organic, family-run estate of Matteo Gori, located in Pienza in Tuscany’s Val d’Orcia, between Montalcino and Montepulciano. The estate follows a traditional, self-sustaining approach to agriculture, incorporating vineyards, olive groves, livestock, and other crops into a biodiverse farming system. Matteo works with native grape varieties, spontaneous fermentations, minimal sulfur, and restrained oak aging to produce wines that reflect the region’s ancient marine soils. His wines are honest, expressive, and deeply connected to the agricultural traditions of Tuscany.
