Tasting Notes

Pale straw in color with a subtle golden hue. Aromas of pear skin, white flowers, lemon zest, and crushed stone lead into a crisp, mineral-driven palate. Notes of green apple, quince, and citrus unfold with bright acidity and a clean, slightly saline finish. Energetic, refreshing, and unmistakably Chenin.

Food Pairings

Fresh goat cheese, Raw shellfish, Herbed roast chicken, Spring vegetables, Sushi

About the Producer

Jérémie Mourat is helping to bring the Fiefs Vendéens back into focus as a dynamic subregion of the western Loire Valley. His Chenin de Jardin is a laser-focused expression of organically farmed Chenin Blanc—zippy, bright, and unadorned. Grown on volcanic soils and fermented with native yeasts, it delivers both precision and personality in spades.
