Tasting Note:
This is Greek sunshine with a little electric current running through it. Malagousia brings the perfume and stone fruit skin, Assyrtiko adds that salty, citrusy precision, and a touch of Xinomavro gives the whole thing shape and grip. Expect orange peel, tangerine, apricot, chamomile, and crushed herbs, plus a lightly tannic, tea like finish that keeps it feeling dry and snappy rather than “funky.” Chill it down and it drinks like a beach day with good music and zero stress.

About the Producer:
Kontozisis is a benchmark name for thoughtful, certified organic farming in central Greece. They work with native varieties, keep the cellar approach minimal, and aim for wines that feel alive without feeling messy. “Clear Skies Fear No Bolts” is the perfect entry point: aromatic, salty, subtly textured, and built for the table.
