Tasting Note:
Samorëns is the weeknight Rhône that overdelivers: juicy, spicy, and built for the table. Expect ripe cherry and raspberry, a little plum, plus cracked pepper, dried thyme, and that warm Rhône garrigue note that makes everything smell like sun on stone. The palate is medium-bodied and smooth, with enough structure to handle food but still bright enough to keep pouring. Give it a light chill and it turns into the perfect “open it with dinner” red for burgers, roast chicken, sausage and peppers, or a big plate of pasta.
About the Producer:
Ferraton Père & Fils is a longtime Rhône house known for reliable, well-made wines that balance fruit, spice, and drinkability. Samorëns is their classic Côtes du Rhône red, made to be approachable, honest, and consistently delicious.
