Tasting Note:
La Villana Rosso is the kind of Italian red we live for behind the counter: juicy, honest, and wildly food friendly. It’s all crunchy sour cherry, wild strawberry, and red plum up front, with a little dried herb and that dusty volcanic mineral thing that makes each sip feel clean and moreish. Light on its feet, not “natural wine funky,” just alive. Best with a slight chill. This is your go to red for pizza night, sausage and peppers, a bowl of red sauce pasta, or anything off the grill once the weather turns.

About the Producer:
La Villana is Joy Kull’s small Lazio project, rooted in thoughtful farming and a cellar approach that stays out of the way. The wines are built around drinkability and place: fresh acidity, real texture, minimal makeup. Rosso is the everyday red that still feels like it has a point of view.
