Tasting Note:
Rosso de Veo channels pure Sagrantino character in a slightly more approachable frame than the estate’s DOCG bottlings. Dense black cherry, blackberry, and plum meet dried rose, wild herbs, licorice, cocoa, and tobacco. The palate is powerful and savory, with vibrant acidity and the variety’s hallmark, broad tannins—structured yet lifted, finishing long on mineral and spice. Decant 1–2 hours if opening now; excellent cellaring potential 8–12+ years.

The Bea family has farmed in Montefalco since the 1500s and bottles wines that are as natural as possible: organic vines, hand harvests, native-yeast fermentations, long macerations, long cask élevage, no fining or filtration, and minimal SO₂.
