Alexandre Hote’s 2023 Tavel is a deep, structured rosé with the presence and grip that make Tavel so compelling. It shows ripe cherry, raspberry, pomegranate, blood orange, rose petal, peppercorn, dried herbs, and crushed-stone minerality. Grenache gives the wine warmth and red-fruited generosity, while Cinsault adds lift, freshness, and a lightly bitter fruit-skin edge. It is savory, energetic, and food-ready, with enough texture for grilled meats, tuna, vegetables, and Mediterranean dishes.

About the Producer:
Domaine Alexandre Hote is a small Tavel estate founded after Alexandre spent years managing family vineyards and selling fruit to the local cooperative. He began bottling his own wines in 2019, working with Grenache, Cinsault, and Syrah on galets roulés over clay-limestone soils. The cellar is extremely hands-on and low-tech, with manual work, gravity, gentle handling, and bottling without filtration. The wines are natural-leaning, vivid, and transparent, showing Tavel’s power without losing freshness.
