Tasting Note:
Bright, textural, and electric, “Le Petit Chemin” is a soulful expression of Chenin Blanc from one of Anjou’s most respected natural growers. The 2023 vintage opens with aromas of quince, pear skin, crushed herbs, and flinty minerality. The palate is lean and tensile with a touch of waxy texture, lively acidity, and a long, saline finish. It’s a wine that hums with energy—both approachable and complex, with a quiet depth that rewards attention.

Food Pairings:
Pair with goat cheese, shellfish, roast chicken, or leek and potato galette. Also excellent with white bean dishes, aged Gruyère, or grilled endive.

About the Producer:
Benoît Courault is part of a new generation of Loire vignerons working with deep respect for soil, vine, and time. After training with Mark Angéli, he founded his own domaine in Anjou in 2006, focusing exclusively on organic and biodynamic farming. His wines are fermented with native yeasts, made without additives, and bottled unfiltered—offering a pure, unvarnished taste of Chenin and place.
