Tasting Note:
Zesty and crystalline: lime zest, white peach, and gooseberry ride over crushed-chalk minerality, grapefruit pith, and a faint nettle/herbal lift. The palate is tense and linear at first sip, then broadens with a subtle creaminess from fine-lees aging. Finishes long, saline, and super clean—textbook Sancerre that’s both refreshing and quietly complex. Pair with chèvre, oysters, sushi, or spring vegetables and herbs.
About the Producer:
Thomas and Marie Denizot craft precise, terroir-driven Sancerre from parcels spanning caillottes (limestone pebbles) and terres blanches (Kimmeridgian marl). Farming is careful and largely organic in practice; picking is by hand, and the cellar regimen favors stainless steel, cool ferments, and patient lees work. Osmose blends sites for balance—fruit, stone, and a sleek texture that makes it a versatile, crowd-pleasing benchmark.
