Tasting Note:
Luneau-Papin’s 2023 Folle Blanche is a vibrant, beautifully refreshing Loire white that captures the Atlantic character of the Pays Nantais. Lemon zest, green apple, grapefruit, white flowers, and subtle sea-spray notes lead into a crisp, energetic palate. Bright acidity and a distinctive saline minerality keep the wine focused, while gentle lees aging adds just enough texture to balance its lively citrus character. Light, precise, and wonderfully versatile, this is an exceptional companion for oysters, shellfish, and fresh seafood.

About the Producer:
Domaine Luneau-Papin is one of the Loire Valley’s benchmark estates, located in Le Landreau in the heart of Muscadet country. The Luneau family has cultivated vineyards in the region for generations, with Pierre-Marie and Marie Luneau now leading the domaine. Known for their meticulous organic and biodynamic farming, indigenous fermentations, and extended lees aging, the estate produces some of the most expressive and age-worthy wines in the Pays Nantais. While best known for their exceptional Melon de Bourgogne, their Folle Blanche highlights another historic Atlantic grape, offering a crisp, mineral-driven expression of the region’s maritime terroir.
