Tasting Note:
Domaine Rollin’s Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Blanc is a beautifully balanced Chardonnay that captures the freshness and mineral precision of Burgundy’s higher-elevation vineyards. Lemon zest, green apple, ripe pear, white peach, and delicate white flowers lead into a lively, gently textured palate. Subtle notes of hazelnut and crushed limestone add complexity, while bright acidity carries through a clean, refreshing finish. Elegant and approachable, with enough depth to make it a versatile companion for seafood, roast poultry, and creamy cheeses.
About the Producer:
Domaine Rollin Père & Fils is a historic family estate based in Pernand-Vergelesses, at the northern end of the Côte de Beaune. The Rollin family has cultivated vineyards in Burgundy for generations, with Maurice Rollin beginning estate bottling in the 1950s. Today, Rémi and Simon Rollin continue the family’s traditional, terroir-focused approach, farming approximately 14 hectares across Pernand-Vergelesses and neighboring appellations. Terra Vitis-certified vineyard practices, careful harvesting, restrained oak, and patient élevage define the house style. Their wines are celebrated for their purity, freshness, and exceptional value, particularly from the often-overlooked villages and higher-elevation vineyards of the Côte de Beaune.
