Tasting Note:
The 2023 Bourgogne Chardonnay from Bitouzet-Prieur is a beautifully classical expression—silky, mineral, and pure. Aromas of lemon curd, pear, white flowers, and hazelnut glide into a palate that balances supple fruit with chalky precision. The vintage’s warmth brings gentle ripeness, while the domaine’s restrained hand keeps everything fresh and poised. Elegant texture, citrus-driven lift, and a long saline finish make this a true “baby Meursault” and an exceptional Burgundy value. Enjoy with roast chicken, seared scallops, or creamy cheeses.

About the Producer:
Established in 1804, Domaine Bitouzet-Prieur is one of Meursault’s great traditional estates. Today, sixth-generation vigneron François Bitouzet and his wife, Anne Prieur, farm their vineyards organically and craft wines that blend precision and depth. In the cellar, François favors gentle extractions, native fermentations, and minimal new oak, allowing each terroir to speak clearly. His Bourgogne Chardonnay draws fruit from parcels near Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet, giving it real pedigree and texture well beyond its appellation.
