Tasting Note:
Girard-Bonnet’s “À Mi-Chemin” is a beautifully precise Blanc de Blancs Champagne that captures the chalky minerality and elegance of the Côte des Blancs. Lemon zest, green apple, white peach, citrus blossom, toasted almond, and subtle brioche lead into a focused, finely textured palate. Vibrant acidity and delicate bubbles balance the wine’s gentle richness, while a long, saline finish highlights its Grand Cru origins. Refined and energetic, with enough depth and structure to shine alongside food.

About the Producer:
Champagne Girard-Bonnet is a small grower estate in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, led by Paul Girard, who represents a new generation of Champagne producers. Drawing on family vineyards in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Oger, Paul focuses on organic farming, indigenous fermentations, restrained oak, and extended lees aging. His Champagnes emphasize purity, texture, and the distinctive chalk-driven character of the Côte des Blancs. “À Mi-Chemin” brings together fruit from the estate’s two Grand Cru villages, offering a compelling introduction to one of Champagne’s most exciting young growers.
