Zippy acidity and a fine, gently frothy mousse keep it ultra-refreshing, while the Bassi Vineyard’s salty, stony core runs through the finish. Outward Wines is the Central Coast project of Natalie Siddique and Ryan Pace, who farm and source from cool, ocean-influenced vineyards up and down the coast. Their approach is minimal in the cellar—native fermentations, old barrels when used, and bottling without fining or filtration—to let each site speak clearly. The Bassi Vineyard pét-nat captures their ethos perfectly: bright, textural, and unmistakably coastal.
