About this bottle

Tasting Note:
Jamet’s 2024 Collines Rhodaniennes delivers the savory character of Northern Rhône Syrah in a fresh, approachable style. Bright cherry fruit meets white pepper, smoked meat, and a gentle woodsmoke note. The palate is juicy and finely textured, with a subtle creaminess balanced by freshness and a clean, peppery finish. There is plenty of detail here without the weight of a bigger Syrah. Serve slightly cool with roast chicken, grilled lamb, mushroom dishes, or herb-braised lentils.

About the Producer:
Domaine Jamet is a family estate on the plateau above Ampuis and one of Côte-Rôtie’s benchmark producers. Jean-Paul Jamet began working alongside his father, Joseph, in 1976; today, he works with his wife Corinne and their son Loïc. Sustainable vineyard work and a deep understanding of the region’s hillside parcels underpin the wines. Their Collines Rhodaniennes offers an earlier-drinking introduction to the domaine, emphasizing Syrah’s fruit and savory character through destemming and aging in older barrels.
