Tasting Note:
Marie du Lac’s Sancerre is fresh and citrus-driven, with grapefruit, bright lemon, and a clean mineral finish. The palate balances lively acidity with enough fruit and texture to keep it inviting rather than austere. Direct and refreshing, this is an easy match for oysters, lemon-roasted fish, or warm goat cheese on toast, with enough presence to carry through a full meal.

About the Producer:
Marie du Lac is a Sancerre cuvée made by Franck Laloue and his son Clément through their longstanding relationships with local growers. Rather than coming from a separate estate, it brings together small vineyard parcels, particularly Longues Fins in Chavignol and Garennes in Sancerre. Hand harvesting and stainless-steel vinification keep the emphasis on fresh Sauvignon Blanc fruit and the character of these limestone-rich sites.
