Tasting Note:
Domaine de Montbourgeau’s Crémant du Jura is dry, fresh, and mineral, with green apple, lemon zest, pear, white flowers, almond, light brioche, and a chalky saline finish. Made from Chardonnay in the traditional method, it has fine bubbles, bright acidity, and enough Jura texture to feel more serious than a simple aperitif.

About the Producer:
Domaine de Montbourgeau is a historic family estate in L’Étoile, in the Jura, first planted by Victor Gros in 1920 and now run by the Deriaux family. The domaine is known for traditional, mineral-driven Jura wines from Chardonnay, Savagnin, Poulsard, and Trousseau, with hand-harvesting, indigenous yeasts, and a careful, low-intervention approach.
