Tasting Note:
Domaine du Moulin aux Moines’ 2022 “Les Beaumonts” is an elegant, expressive Pinot Noir that captures the charm and freshness of Chorey-lès-Beaune. Red cherry, wild raspberry, strawberry, violet, and subtle earthy spice lead into a silky, medium-bodied palate. The generous 2022 vintage brings ripe fruit and supple tannins, while bright acidity and limestone minerality keep the wine balanced and precise. A beautifully approachable red Burgundy with enough structure to reward a few years in bottle.

About the Producer:
Domaine du Moulin aux Moines is a historic Burgundy estate centered around a 12th-century Cistercian mill in Auxey-Duresses. The property has a long winemaking history and was revived in the early 2000s with a focus on organic and biodynamic farming, indigenous fermentations, and traditional Burgundian winemaking. Working with vineyards across the Côte de Beaune, the domaine emphasizes biodiversity, careful vineyard management, and restrained cellar intervention. Its wines are known for their purity, elegance, and clear expression of Burgundy’s limestone-rich terroir, offering thoughtful, terroir-driven interpretations of classic appellations.
