Tasting Note:
Clos du Tue-Boeuf’s 2025 “Vin Blanc” is a lively, expressive Loire white that balances bright citrus fruit with gentle texture and savory complexity. Lemon zest, green apple, ripe pear, white peach, fresh herbs, and delicate floral notes lead into a juicy, energetic palate. Sauvignon Blanc brings freshness and aromatic lift, while Chardonnay adds roundness and depth. Bright acidity and a subtle mineral edge carry through a clean, refreshing finish. A versatile, easygoing white with plenty of character.
About the Producer:
Clos du Tue-Boeuf is one of the Loire Valley’s pioneering natural-wine estates, located in Les Montils near Cheverny. Brothers Thierry and Jean-Marie Puzelat helped establish the domaine’s reputation through organic farming, indigenous fermentations, minimal sulfur, and a commitment to wines that reflect their vineyards without unnecessary manipulation. Today, Thierry continues to produce some of the region’s most distinctive wines, working with Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Gamay, Pinot Noir, and other local varieties. “Vin Blanc” offers a fresh, approachable introduction to the estate’s expressive, low-intervention style.
