“Les Granges” is the gateway Chinon that never feels basic—bright, crunchy, and wildly drinkable, with that Cab Franc snap that makes you immediately want food. Think raspberry, red cherry, and cranberry, plus violet and graphite, then a savory edge of green peppercorn, leafy herbs, and a little pencil-shaving earthiness. Light to medium-bodied with fine tannins and high-toned acidity, it’s excellent with a slight chill and shines the minute it hits the table.
